"Merry Happy" - Kate Nash
I laughed a lot today. It was amazing to laugh without any reservation even with people around. They were laughing too. One of those knee-slapping, tears-rolling, hard-to-breathe kinda laughs. I guess in a dark room you're free to do what you please. The energy was full and fantastic. I felt light and revived. I love it when on a whim I step out of my little hiding place to see the world for what it is and have fun with it. When I stop focusing on the negatives, I discover who I really am. I'm someone who likes to laugh, go out and keep things simple. Dinner and a movie, a get-together over coffee, or a stroll in the park (no hills). I like hanging out in small groups with people I trust who have a great sense of humor, know how to talk sh*t and can carry a conversation.
Bars aren't so bad if the tables are clean, the service is friendly, and the music is good. My absolute favorite drink is a Cucumber Cooler martini and yes, a cucumber must be included. I like eating a little something with my drink. I know my limit is 2 and if they're shots, I'm guaranteed to say something I wouldn't normally say "sober." I know my alcohol intake is ridiculous, but it's affordable, a great ice-breaker and I often end up with shots.
I like dark and cool places with a crowd, but not crowded. I like being comfortable and on my own time. I like interesting people... I'm a "fun drunk," approachable when I'm no longer controllable hence why I go with people I trust. I like to sing and dance when others are singing and dancing like me. I like the new things I'm finding out and maybe a few things I forgot about. I like spending time to get to know me. I like me.
