Is this my favorite Carrie song? Surprisingly, no. I even forgot to download it (at least to ask a certain someone to do it for me...guess I shoulda paid closer attention then). I know this is kinda a sad song too, but it has a better message. It's not about cheating or leaving on bad terms or not saying everything we needed to say...blah, blah, blah.
It's not your typical love song gone wrong when the person who meant everything to you means nothing to you now. This person still means something. It's not about being torn apart by distance, old lovers, or even war. We have a car, they're in the past, and the fighting stopped. I don't even know what to call what it is this is, but I do know one thing for sure. Of all the songs Carrie sang, lyrical this one makes the most sense with how I feel about us.
